Seven years as volunteer IT and systems manager for hockey club DMHC: the LISA club platform, Microsoft 365 and Outlook, and the club website.

What I did
For seven years I looked after the digital side of the club, so members, volunteers and the board could focus on hockey:
- LISA: managing the club’s LISA environment, the platform hockey clubs use for members, teams and club administration.
- Microsoft 365 and Outlook: accounts and email for the people running the club.
- The club website: keeping it up to date and working.
What I learned
Supporting non-technical users in a real organisation: making systems that work for people with very different levels of experience, and explaining technology clearly.
